You will find it in Administrative Tools or just search for resource monitor on start menu

Got this issue which has been going on for a while but when play PS2 it didn't really matter too much.
But when it happened in CS:GO, I flipped because it stopped me getting a bomb defuse as last man alive![]()
Basically at least once a day my HDD or SSD not sure which one gets this massive data surge as if it's running a backup of some sort taking up a huge amount of computing power
Monitor locks up, audio freezes, red light on PC case stays permanently on for the duration, however, TeamSpeak can be heard, I can talk over it fine and I can hear people fine, heres the best part.
In PlanetSide if i'm dead and it happens I can't respawn, If I'm alive, I can keep playing so long as I don't die or pull a vehicle, when flying in my Reaver once when this happened I crossed the entire continent, when I got from Saurva to Dahaka the textures where super plain, long distance low res textures but everthing like mountains and vehicles appeared and move around perfectly fine, got back to the WG in the South east of Indar waited about 2 minutes and then all the textures rendered back to high quality.
Can anyone think of anything I can do to check what process causes this massive issue or what a likely cause might be??
Cheers ;)
Does it happen at random or it happening the same time every time? Have you checked the schedule on your anti-virus? Do you have the drives set to go to sleep mode when they're not in use?

Graphics wise the 560Ti is quite dated. Have you tried messing with your UserOptions.ini file at all? I'm sure we could get a bit more FPS with that before looking to upgrades. If you can pick up a GTX 660 Ti for cheap, you'll be able to get maybe 10-15 more fps.
SoldierBeast wrote:yeah some optimizations with settings, graphicscard driver setting might also have a huge impact. You can do a lot more to impact the graphics performance than cpu. turn off AA, AF, AO, these use a lot of gc power
Phattie wrote:Your CPU is fine. It's very similar performance wise to the i7 920, and that CPU is what I was using until my recent upgrades. If you want to eek out some more performance, overclock it. If you can get maybe 500 more Mhz out of it, you'll probably get 5 more fps across the board. Hell, you should be able to get 3.6-4Ghz out of that chip. Try and follow this guide: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/263 ... king-guide. People have managed to get up to 3.8Ghz without any issues, so as long as you have a decent cooler then you should be able to get a lot more out of that CPU. Make sure to read the guide thoroughly, take everything in, then attempt it afterward. Printing it out or having it open on a tablet or laptop is advisable.

If you wanted to replace your CPU, Mobo & RAM then you're looking at £280 minimum really, but as Phattie said you should be fine with what you have

I'm not sure what all those are, Anti Aliasing I think i got :)

8 RAM and SATA disk enough?
